This digital image came out much redder than the actual image with was painted with acrylic watercolor on cold press illustration board. This is my favorite medium, as the acrylic medium that is mixed with the watercolor makes the paint sit on top of the paper instead of soaking in. It allows you to push the different colors around the top of your drawing longer to position it. You let each layer dry and add another...these are glazes... thin layers of transparent color which, if let to dry, allow each layer of color to show through, producing a glow.
